We rated, reviewed, & compared 23 of the best PC gaming chairs across various budgets. These top computer chairs are perfect for gamers or anyone else looking for a PC chair.
As gamers we focus so much on our graphics cards, processors, memory, motherboards, cases, etc. that we often forget about the one components that is probably the most important of all… our chair.
Nowadays, with all of the studies coming out linking back problems to spending an extensive amount of time in a chair, it has never been more important for serious gamers to have a quality computer chair. Fortunately, there are plenty of chairs out there that are built specifically for gamers.
And, there are even viable options that won’t cost you a ton of money.
In this buyer’s guide, we take a look at 23 of the best PC gaming chairs currently available.
We’ve broken the guide down by price range to help you easily find the right chair for your budget. We also rated the computer chairs below based off of their feature-set. So, if you’re looking for a new chair for your setup, there is bound to be something that meets your needs below.
I’m not going to say that you can get a high quality computer chair for under $50, because the reality is that you really can’t.
However, if you’re working with a tight budget, there are at least a few options below that will be at least adequate enough to hold you over until you can afford something a little more comfortable.
If you do have less than $50 to spend, the next thing you’ll want to consider is what kind of back you want (medium back or high back) and what kind of color scheme you’re looking for. Your only real option for something that looks like it was made for gamers is the black and red Merax Executive computer chair.
For me personally, I prefer a solid black chair, but if you’re looking for something more edgy, then that’s probably your only option in this price range.
Ultimately, none of these chairs should be viewed as long terms options if you plan on spending a significant amount of time in them. But they will serve you well for now.
Computer Chair Comparison Chart (Click “Read Review” to Expand)If you have between ~$50 and $100 to spend on your PC chair, you actually have a pretty diverse group of options to choose between.
On the one hand, there are a couple of different chairs in this range that are designed specifically for gamers (the Best Choice Executive Racing Chair and the Homall Ergonomic Racing Chair).
And, both of those come in a few different color schemes so if that’s the kind of style you’re looking for, there’s probably a color set for you.
Then, on the other hand, you have a couple of plain-looking chairs and one executive-style chair to choose between as well.
In my opinion, the Bellezza Ergonomic Office Chair is probably the best bet if your main concern is comfort. But the others in this price range aren’t too far behind in that department.
So, ultimately, the choice all comes down to your personal preference.
Computer Chair Comparison Chart (Click “Read Review” to Expand)I’d say that in the $100-$200 price range you can find a solid PC gaming chair that will give you the support you need to sustain long gaming sessions.
There are some really comfortable chairs in the price range, including a chair I have used in my home office for a long time: the Space Seating Professional Chair.
The EuroStile Office Chair and Alera Elusion Chair are similar options to the Space Seating Professional Chair as well… all have mostly plain styles (except for the EuroStile chair), are ergonomically designed, and only come in black.
So, if you aren’t looking for something that stands out too much, I’d probably look at those three options.
However, if you’re looking for something that stands out, but that still serves as a comfortable chair, then the Giantex Executive Racing Chair and the Arozzi Enzo Chair are probably more up your alley. Both have multiple color schemes to choose between as well.
Of the two, I’d probably go with the Arozzi Enzo Chair, but it will all come down to whether or not you want to spend the extra ~$40.
Ultimately, there’s really not a bad option in this price range. And, while there are some really amazing gaming chairs in the price ranges below, the five options below are good enough to last you awhile.
Computer Chair Comparison Chart (Click “Read Review” to Expand)For a lot of people, spending over $200 on a computer chair is something that probably seems a bit ridiculous. Most gamers probably would never even consider spending that much on a chair.
And for the most part, they are right in believing that there is no need to spend that much on a PC gaming chair.
However, there will always be the hardcore gamers who want the best of the best. If that’s you, then there are some options in this price range (and in the the $500-$1,000 price range, as well) that will more than exceed any expectation you could ever have out of your chair.
The most sought after gaming-specific PC chairs are, of course, the DXRacers. And, there are three different models to choose between in this price range.
If I had to choose one, I’d go with the DXRacer Iron, simply because it looks badass (and it has an all-black option). But, in the end, there really are no bad choices in this price range.
Computer Chair Comparison Chart (Click “Read Review” to Expand)If you thought you lived in a world where $1,000 computer chairs didn’t exist, you better think again. There are in fact, PC chairs out there than run as high at $1,000.
And, while that price is a bit steep, if you take a look at the few chairs in that price range (we’ve only listed one), you’ll see that they take computer chairs to a whole other level.
However, it should be noted that the chair I’m referring to, the Herman Miller Aeron Task Chair, is a rare display of engineering and is really something only suited for people with huge budgets and for professionals who spend the majority of their time sitting.
And, even then it is a bit overkill in terms of price.
There are also a few other outstanding options in this price range as well, including the only gaming-specific option between $500-$1,000: the DXRacer Tank Series.

Which Chair is Best Suited for You?
There are a lot of factors to consider when going out and choosing a computer chair. First and foremost, the PC gaming chair you choose will largely depend on how much you spend.
And, from there, it will all come down to what kind of style chair you want and what color scheme you’d prefer. Of course, comfort is a big factor, and if you have ~$100 or more to spend, it probably won’t be a concern (because most of the options over $100 are going to be pretty comfortable.)
Ultimately, any of the computer chairs on the above list should meet the majority of gamers’ needs.
